Bike light boss
thingiverse
I use a top bag on the pannier rack of my bike, but this obscures the tail light when it is mounted onto the seat post. I like the convenience of the lights with the stretchy rubber strap that holds them on, so I wanted a solution that would hold lights onto the uprights of the pannier rack. The one shown in the photo is on a Topeak pannier rack with 10mm bars. Once I made one, I did a few more designs with different diameters to suit the rest of my bikes - including for a phone holder and headlight on handlebars that have a horizontal stay bar that limits space to fit these. The Ninjaflex I used to print these results in an item that takes a bit of a push to stretch into place and it would probably be fine without cable ties securing it, but I designed with grooves for cable ties including recesses for the 'head' of the cable tie. These then act to prevent the light from slipping down if it hasn't been done up tight enough.
