Update 2019-07-31: A crucial modification has been made to ensure the continued functionality of my setup. An adapter was added to attach to the original mount, as the printed clamp had unfortunately broken. To achieve optimal strength and minimal support during printing, it is recommended that the adapter be printed while standing upright on its "nose." This will require two 17-18mm 3mm screws and nuts to secure the adapter to the original mount. The headlight mount for a 32mm handlebar has been adjusted to accommodate custom adapters with ease. Assembly of this component necessitates three 4mm screws, nuts, and a washer. A custom adapter featuring a printed pin was added to my setup specifically for use with the Sigma Lightster. This innovation ensures that the light remains securely locked in place, eliminating the need for the original mount's small plastic part which often breaks after six months of usage. The inclusion of this pin should provide longer-lasting results and minimize the likelihood of breakage. The design has been thoroughly tested using PLA and has proven to be highly effective. I will update this description if any changes are made in the future. If you encounter any issues with the mount, please do not hesitate to notify me so that necessary adjustments can be made. Unfortunately, the image quality is subpar due to the use of black ink, which was not taken into consideration during printing. Planned enhancements include: The pin currently does not automatically return to its locked position. A spring from a clothespin could potentially be used to keep the pin securely locked in place, eliminating the need for the hexagonal part.
