Bike Handlebar Cradle for Bikepacking
thingiverse
I made a handlebar cradle to fit a drybag (8 litres) on my bike. The diameter of the clamp is 32.5 mm. I cut out some pieces of an old inner tube and glued them on the inner sides of the clamps to add some grip. The arms are available in 50 mm and 85 mm. I am using three straps (25 mm) to fix it. The strap in the middle is only used to get some more tire clearance. Parts needed: 4 x M4 screws 4 x M4 nuts 2 x straps (25mm wide) So far I only did 40 km with it. Without any problems. Next week I'm gonna do a long run test (about 400 km). I'll keep you updated. UPDATE: I did 400 km without any major issues. Only the bridge like part got a little damage from touching a fence. This part could be probably replaced with an aluminum profile. The arms themselves were pretty stiff and didn't move a millimeter. All in all a solid 8/10
