Bike Handlebar Button (BoosterPack Throttle)
thingiverse
This accessory is designed to work seamlessly with the Bicycle BoosterPack, which can be seen here: http://bit.ly/28XhHxg. I initially suggested purchasing a handlebar button assembly from Amazon, but they have since increased their price significantly to approximately $18. This alternative option provides the same functionality at a much lower cost of around $5 for the switch and a single screw. Two sizes are available, depending on where you plan to mount it, with most people requiring the .875" diameter size as shown in the image. This 'Bike Handlebar Button' could be repurposed for various uses, such as activating a horn or light. To assemble this project, you will need: (1) Momentary Push Button Switch (Normally Open for BoosterPack): http://amzn.to/299XqS8 (1) #6 pan head machine screw, 2" long, with nut (available at Lowes, Home Depot, etc.)
