The cap and the end cap are almost identical. they are small enough, simple with no gaps or to many components. There are only three basic and large components and a smal pin per each assembly. So the ideea is simple. There are 2 aluminium rings easy to manufacture on any lathe or milling machine or any type of machine that can manufacture these parts, one ring has an outer thread and the other a inner thread. Between the two rings there is a rubber ring with a inner diameter a little bigger then the handle with the band thikness. when the two are assembled the rubber ring is pressed and tends to deform in a radial direction. But it can't go in a outer direction because of the rings so it goes in a inner direction pressing the band to the handle bar really tight. This principle is used in gland manufacturing(components used to cross electrical cables trought metal parts) wich offer stability and resistance. I like what my other have done and great respect for them but i tend go go simple but bether. Best regards
