The Tikit's latch has a small plastic component that frequently breaks off. To avoid delays, I designed a replacement part to hold me over until the genuine components arrive. I 3D printed this substitute using PETG, even though it's likely less robust than the originals. Nevertheless, I can print several extras and stash them in my toolkit for future use.
