Bike Fork Widget

I required a flat component attachment (front pannier rack) to the front forks of my bicycle. I curved an aluminum bracket to attach it to the bottom hole to the mudguard mount but needed to secure the top to the front forks. So, I designed this mounting device to be used with a cable tie, printed in Ninjaflex so that it grips well and does not scratch. Alternatively, you could print solidly and use a strip of rubber on the inner surface. The included files are some standard tools for drilling holes of the right size (rodsandholes.scad) and an algorithm for achieving walls as an integer number of threads thick (thread_calc.scad and printer_settings.scad). If you input your nozzle diameter and layer height in the printer settings file, thread_calc performs the calculation.
