Mounting some Planet Bike Cascadia Fenders on a Trek Dual Sport requires some custom hardware. The back fender clip provided by Planet Bike pushes the fender too close to the tire. The printed version provides the necessary clearance with a very tight clip fit to the fender. The front fender stays, which mount via some release tabs, need an adapter for the lugs on the suspension fork. These printed adapters are countoured to the fork profile and provide an offset mounting point with a captured M5 nut. The offset reduces the amount the fender stays have to be shortened in order to accommodate the mounting lugs without bumping up against the brake caliper mount. - MakeWerks
