Basically a piece of plastic that gets wrapped under your bar-tape, and provides more surface area for the palm of your hand to rest on while riding on the tops. You'll need some fairly sticky double sided tape to hold it to the bar, and then wrap it a few times in some kind of tape that doesn't stretch, I used gorilla tape.
