Bike chain wear indicator tool
thingiverse
This tool measures wear on your bicycle chain and assists you when working with your chain. To use this device: 1 - To measure chain wear (use the "long side" for this): Insert the hook end between two chain links, resting it against the roller. Then check if the other end (flat edge) fits inside the links or stops short. If it stops short, your chain is in good condition; if it fits inside, your chain may need to be replaced. 2 - To work on the chain (use the short side hooks): The short side has two hooks that can be used to relieve tension when installing a new chain or adding and removing links. Remember to ensure your printer is correctly set for precise prints. Also, make sure your first layer isn't too squashed or flared, as this will affect the tool's apparent size and measurement accuracy.
