Bike Chain Gauge (solid remix)
thingiverse
FactorStandard's bike chain gauge (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2108142) was a design I admired for its elegance and usefulness, but it had one major flaw - it was painfully slow to print due to the text running through it, which put excessive stress on my slightly malfunctioning Bowden extruder, especially with large retraction settings in place. To fix this issue, I remixed the design to make it solid with the text embossed on the upper surface, resulting in faster and smoother printing on my printer. However, the revised version lacked the original's aesthetic appeal. Update: V2 now features tapered teeth that perfectly fit my narrow chain links.
