Most bikes without a front derailleur, especially those with single to nine back gears, can experience an easy chain drop. A protective cover designed specifically for this issue prevents the chain from coming off and causing problems. This cover is engineered to fit standard 35 mm seat posts and 200 mm frontal chain rings perfectly. It was initially developed for use on Bafang MTB rear hub e-bikes, such as the Biltema Yosemite EX-TRAIL model.
