Bike Accessories For People With Hand Disabilites
pinshape
I designed this bike accessory for cyclists who struggle with grip strength or hand control due to an injury or disability. The design features a detachable bracket that attaches effortlessly to a bike handle, offering three interchangeable handle options tailored to the user's needs. The bracket slides onto the bike handlebar with minimal pressure and then secures in place using a pre-printed screw and bolt included in the design file. The accessories attach to the bracket by turning them on a screw mounted on top of the bracket, requiring only gentle pressure that varies depending on the chosen print material's strength. Stronger print materials yield more durable results. No adhesives are needed; simply remove any support structures, and minimal post-print clean-up is required. Sanding may be done to achieve a smoother finish, but it is not necessary. The design also allows for priming and painting in the desired color.
