BigTreeTech TFT24 display case
thingiverse
I'm showcasing the merits of BigTreeTech TFT24 v1.1 display. I've crafted this case to be as robust as feasible without appearing overly bulky. There are several ports and slots easily accessible, including an SD card slot, a USB port, EXT1 & EXT2 ports, and a serial port. Unfortunately, the debug port is inaccessible once you've mounted the backplate. The reset button is flush with the box, necessitating some tool to press it into place. It's wise to clean out the hole for the reset button after printing using a drill bit to prevent it from becoming stuck. The mount measures 18mm wide, allowing it to fit snugly within most aluminum profiles used in printer frame construction. You can use this case on 2020, 2040, or 3030 profiles, as well as any other profile boasting at least a 5mm-wide slot. There are three main box variants available: one for top mounting, one for bottom mounting, and one without a mount at all (for easier remixes). Select the variant that best suits your needs. You'll need to print one Display_YOUR_VARIANT, one Backplate, and one Mount. Edit 2019-10-06 - I've uploaded the v2 display file variant. The hole for the display is now 2mm smaller (cut from the right side). This adjustment yields a cleaner look, with no metal frame visible.
