Bigtreetech Smart Filament Sensor Holder
thingiverse
I wanted to install the BTT smart filament sensor on my Ender 5 without having it hang loose in mid-air.\r\n\r\nOther sensor mounts I found required replacing a part of the housing or repackaging the electronics into a new housing. While this option looked neat, I needed something more flexible since I often remove the sensor to clear jams in the feed path and these mounting options demanded removing many screws to do so. This design is straightforward - just clip it on and off.\r\n\r\nI created this simple, clip-in holder to keep the sensor securely attached while allowing it to slide directly into the extruder.\r\n\r\nAs shown in the pictures, I'm using a BMG extruder but the holder should work with the stock one as well if you mount the sensor after the extruder.
