BigTree Tech TFT24 v1.2 For Ender 3 (and Pro)
thingiverse
Now that I've purchased a pair of Ender 5 Pro and Ender 5 Plus, my Ender 3 has become my experimental printer and I've been heavily modifying it.\r\n\r\nThe two massive (and ridiculously affordable) upgrades I've done so far are to replace the motherboard with a BigtreeTech Mini E3 and I've replaced the Creality 12864 LCD with a BigtreeTech TFT24 v1.1.\r\n\r\nI've disliked most of the cases I've seen for the TFT24 up until now. They've all been designed for different models, versions or just been weird. So, I made a simple case which mounts the screen firmly (and even better with two dabs of hot glue on the V-Slot) and makes all the features easily accessible.\r\n\r\nI've considered making a back for the enclosure, but for now, I think this looks quite good as it is. If people really want it, I've included the STEP files as well as the STL files. You can either remix it or you can ask me and if enough people are interested, I'll spend the time.\r\n\r\nThere's no real need for additional hardware. When I assembled this the first time, I was worried I'd use up all my lovely 3mm self-tapping screws... and then I found the module simply snapped into place and wouldn't budge... no screws needed.\r\n\r\nI've added an updated design that should allow more breathing space (4mm) for EXP1 and EXP2. I haven't printed it yet, but it looks good in Fusion360
