It is a simple device inspired by the Big Mack, but at low cost and easy assembled to serve as a tool for multiple programs that require assistive technology in terms of communication. You can see it working here: https://www.facebook.com/hipatetik/videos/10213034003698114/ The device itself consists of an ISD1820 voice recorder module adapted to be used with additional pushbuttons, and externally controlled through 3.5 audio jacks. The current version is intended to be used with the photo module available at very low cost on Aliexpress, but can be adapted for use with other versions. Changing R4 from its default setting of 100K (10sec) allows for more recording time, up to a maximum of 20s with a 200K resistor. Additional elements required include: AAA battery holder (two batteries) US $15 Led indicator 5mm AR $1 Cable (scrap) $0 Two 3.5mm audio panel jacks Pushbuttons normal $scrap (comes with the module) Speaker of 8ohm 40mm diameter (usually sold together with the module). Screws M3 with nuts x2 Screws for small threading (approx 2mm) The module can be obtained in values between US $150 to $220, and tools needed include a soldering iron, tin, tin sucker, and screwdrivers.
