Loved the original idea from Moksiu, but the STL wasn't printable through Cura. I redesigned the model from stratch to use two larger magnets (6.5mm diameter, 1.6mm thick), so this one is substantially bigger than the original, using about 10g plastic to print. I rebuilt this in Fusion 360, primarily by eyeballing the original. I've included the parametric file to play with - you can adjust the magnet size in the parameters section to scale the entire design to fit a particular magnet size. I didn't carefully test this, and I'm sure it'll take a lot of adjustment to get it just right for your purposes, but it's available for you should you want it. UPDATE: Added a less-angled 15 degree version to the files. Print Settings Printer Brand: Dremel Digilab Printer: 3D45Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: NoResolution: .2mm Infill: 10% Filament: Hatchbox PLA Grey Notes: This is an easy print - it's wide, short, and requires no supports. You only need enough infill to hold up the top layer, so I went with 10%. This part should be manifold and shouldn't be a problem to slice. I don't recommend going below .2mm - the magnets are set up with about .2mm of walls around them. Category: Kitchen & Dining
