This plastic shoe, attached to RoboNova-1's feet using Elmer's glue, houses LiPo batteries for extended power supply and improved stability. The 6mm vertical space between the cavity bottom and RoboNova-1 ensures optimal battery storage. The project is an entry to makezine.com/go/makerbot contest; however, TrossenRobotics does not carry 1S1P LiPo batteries. If you fabricate this with a 3D printer, kindly share the build file and machine type for others to utilize on this platform.
