BigBox LCD Enclosure
thingiverse
BigBox LCD Enclosure. The standard BigBox LCD enclosure is, of course, beautiful. However, it has some notable flaws. In this design, I have addressed and improved many of these issues: The opening for the SD card is now significantly larger, with rounded corners that greatly facilitate the removal of the SD card. A hole has been strategically placed on the front panel, enabling users to adjust or re-adjust the LCD contrast without having to disassemble a large portion of the printer. I have also added a dedicated hole for the reset button. This now allows for emergency stops without requiring the printer to be powered off. Other minor yet significant improvements include: The removal of screws from the front panel, relocating them inside the panel mount instead. This design change ensures a sleeker appearance and improved functionality. A crucial bracket has been added to prevent the LCD PCB from bending when mounting the screws for the LCD panel. Lastly, a large and functional knob has been designed to be printed on the front of the panel. Parts required: 4 x M3 12mm screws for securing the LCD screen 6 x M3 16mm screws for attaching the enclosure to the frame
