Big Tree Tech EBB36 (v1.0) Stealthburner mount
prusaprinters
This model is currently for the 1.0 version of the EBB36 board. The screw and strain relief positions changed on the 1.1 & 1.2 versions. The Big Tree Tech EBB CANbus boards are a nice way to cut down on wiring to the toolhead. They're designed to mount directly behind the stepper motor using the same screws. On toolheads like the Voron Stealthburner where the pancake stepper is mounted at a rotated angle (its mounting ears aren't parallel to the ground), the plug for the EBB boards ends up pointing at a weird angle instead of straight up. This model attaches to the stepper motor mounts and provides separate rotated mounts to screw down the EBB board so that the plug is pointing straight up to connect to an umbilical. There's also a zip tie point to provide some strain relief for the cable. It uses the stock brass standoffs that come with the EBB 36 kit, though you could get away with using standoffs that are 1-2 mm shorter if you have them. There's just enough clearance from the back end of a Voron 2.4 with the stock standoffs.Note that this model leaves the board slightly off-center to allow clearance for wires or a Molex plug going to a pcb in the normal Stealthburner toolhead board location. I use hartk's two piece board design so that I can unplug the fan shroud from the rest of the toolhead without unplugging any wires. The PCB isn't required, and there's still plenty of room to run individual plugs to the EBB board from the heater, thermistor, fans, and LED's if you prefer.Print in ABS with standard Voron settings. No supports required.Requires 2x M3 heatsets, 4x M3x6mm SHCS, and the original M3 brass standoffs included with the EBB36. If you'd rather not use the original standoffs or want a little more clearance to the back of the printer, print 2 of the standoffs model (use a brim), and use 4x additional M3 heatsets.
