Big Steel Calipers

I crafted some robust calipers on the plasma table, each half measuring 12 inches in length from its pivot point. A 3/8" hole was drilled into it because that's the only wing nut size I had available. These calipers would probably work just as well for cutting through acrylic or wood too. If you decide to make them out of steel, however, welding will be necessary.
