Big Plant Space Rocket with Pot

Bring your big plants into space with this Big Plant Space Rocket with Pot! It's a massive upgrade, over 280% larger than my first "Plant Space Rocket" (thingiverse.com/thing:1446506), and the bigger brother of my new "Mini Plant Space Rocket with Pot" (thingiverse.com/thing:1548463). This Big Plant Rocket comes with a special funnel that makes it easy to water your plants without lifting the upper part. The dimensions are approximately 24 x 24 x 37 cm, and it's printed with PLA. The total printing time is around 45 hours, and the filament used is about 500g. It's best to choose plants that grow outwards, as they'll have more room to thrive in space. Note: If you want a smaller version of this Plant Space Rocket with Pot, try using my optimized "Mini Plant Space Rocket with Pot" (thingiverse.com/thing:1548463). However, keep in mind that downsizing the Big Rocket may make it no longer waterproof and stable. Updates: 15.05.2016: I've released a new version of this design, which can also be used as a lamp! If you don't have a 3D printer, you can buy a printed copy of this design here: shapeways.com/product/KF5C4D96E Print Settings: My settings for printing this design were as follows: The top part was printed with 2-layer walls, 4-5 top and floor layers, and 15% infill. I used woodsticks for support, which can simply support the last inch of printing. No other support is needed. The bottom and funnel parts require no support at all. Post-Printing: 1.
