The Thing consists of a central tube that serves as both axis for spinning and a body part to attach. At each end, it has an identical design where two thin strips form the outer ring. One strip at each side ends in a hook and on either side of this central bar, it has another thinner tube coming out - known as horns or ears which connect these two central bars into two distinct pieces, but remain attached via small pegs that secure the connection, leaving an additional space above each end allowing air to circulate and help maintain a steady speed when in use. The hook portion at the ends of the bar have also a small hole in it.
