This is exactly to standard. I just made it printable. I do not know where you can buy one of these made out of metal, but I would like to, for no good reason. In theory this can be printed without supports. The outer slopes pull the filament against the perimeter and keeps it from falling. The threads have been a problem for me. They are steep overhangs, with a concave cross-section. This can cause detaching, especially for external perimeters. Try reducing the print speed, increasing the extrusion, or petitioning the authors of your slicer to stop underextruding on internal overhangs. Category: Math Art
