I'm really disappointed in Northern Brewer's decision to replace the screw-on lid on their Big Mouth Bubbler with a press-on cap that pops off frequently. Even when I carefully dry the lid and bottle, it still often comes loose. It's frustrating because most of us don't have time to thoroughly clean and dry our equipment after each use. # Solution: 1. Print three parts. 2. Attach the adapter ring by screwing it onto the bottom piece with the wide side facing upwards. 3. Press the sanitized Big Mouth Bubbler lid firmly into place. 4. Place the collar over the ring, making sure it covers the entire adapter and wraps around the bottle securely. 5. Insert a printed plastic pin to secure the collar in place. Now that the gasket on the Big Mouth Bubbler lid is properly sealed, you can tighten the collar just enough to keep everything in place without using any hardware at all. This solution works perfectly and makes it easy to assemble your brew equipment.
