Big Lasercutted Eiffel Tower
thingiverse
The Eiffel Tower by rutech/dino-girl was quite impressive but a bit too compact for my liking.\r\n\r\nSo I scaled up their model to approximately 1m60 in height.\r\nThe required material now calls for a thickness of 5mm.\r\n\r\nThe files are laid out to accommodate three 60x85cm plywood sheets.\r\n\r\nIt's available in dxf format for direct cutting.\r\nThe Inkscape source files, svg, can be found on the Fablab Lannion github repository at https://github.com/FablabLannion/lasercut/tree/master/projects/TourEiffel\r\n\r\nAfter cutting, simply glue the pieces together with regular wood glue. A substantial number of small clamps will likely be necessary :)\r\n
