Big Hairy Nutz (Hex Nut Truck Nutz With Hair!)

These are for hanging from your rear bumper/trailer hitch to showcase your truck/jeep/suv's masculinity. They measure approximately 5 3/4 inches at their widest point and feature hair on them! Attach them to your Suzuki Samurai to demonstrate just how rugged it is! Print them in flesh color for ultra realism. Place one on a pink Jeep Wrangler with a doily wheel cover to bring out its hidden machismo! (I've done this before, trust me!) All you need to know to print these is that you require at least a 200x200 print bed (the shield and hair make it quite wide) and it should have a brim to prevent the shield from detaching. Print it in .3 layer height with a 5% infill. Once the print is complete, detach it from the build plate and run a razor or knife around the inside of the shield to release the hair. Then, use a hair dryer to curl the curls and style them however you like. Next, acquire a 1/4 inch eye bolt with two 7/16 (outside) nuts and a 1/4 washer. (The hole on top is 6.5mm with an 11.5mm hex hole; this may help those outside the SAE world.) Place one nut in the hex hole inside, followed by the washer and the other nut on the outside, then thread the eye bolt through the hole, and finally tighten the nut outside to secure it! Once everything is finished, you can paint it if desired and attach it to your vehicle however you see fit! (I used quick links.) I printed them in PLA but ABS would be a better choice for outdoor use. If you decide to use PLA, I recommend at least spraying it with paint to keep it somewhat UV/weather resistant.
