Big Fin Jig
thingiverse
Another fin jig in action. I've got two versions - one for 4" body tube and another for 2.6". To make the 2.6 version, I first created the larger one and then added a hole to hang it afterwards. The pictures showcase the 4" version. The fin holders are specifically designed to accommodate 1/8" (3mm) fins and extend up about 2 inches. If you need a wider gap or taller blades, feel free to modify the jig as needed. As seen in the pics, this design is friction fit onto the BT. Be cautious when printing the skirt, especially with the 4" version, as it just barely fits on my Ender 3 and popped off one of the clips holding the bed during printing. The pictures are a bit distorted, and Thingiview displays the model at a 90-degree angle. I'm still trying to figure out why this is happening - can someone from Thingiverse shed some light on these issues?
