Big Dummy Rear Light Mount

Introducing a unique bracket to attach an eye-catching rear light to your Surly Big Dummy or other Xtracycle cargo bike. Mounting a light on the seatpost is not ideal due to carrying kids or cargo, while deck mounting hinders cargo and grab handles. This bracket is designed for Niterider Solas lights but can be modified. It features nut traps for 5mm hex nuts for clamping and 4mm hex nuts for flashing light. Use a 5mm socket head cap screw for the clamp, tighten only enough to secure without cracking. For added stability, run zip-ties through the mount and rack frame. Customize with our provided Solidworks files. Use at your own risk.
