big clock thing
thingiverse
This experimental clock, currently a work-in-progress and untested, requires a 3D printer with a 600mm x 300mm x 300mm print space. The design features a dual pendulum clock using a crank escapement to display hours, minutes, seconds (with potential for 10ths of seconds), day/night indication, moon phase, and chime functions on a 600mm diameter clock face. Approximately 90% of the parts are printable, with weights for the winder and pendulums potentially requiring alternative materials. The FreeCAD file "clock4-assembly.FCStd" offers an up-to-date view of all components; however, some individual parts may be missing or subject to change as design progresses.
