Big CD Windmill edit
thingiverse
I designed an upgraded CD Windmill that utilizes the popular 608 bearings found in fidget spinners, which can be spotted at clearance prices of 99c with a keen eye. So many bearings accumulate, prompting the question: what to do with them all? I leveraged pre-existing files to make this project a reality. Additionally, I created a mountable version that fits snugly onto a 3/4" internal diameter PVC pipe because it offered a cost-effective option at the hardware store. The remarkable combination of screws and superglue can accomplish incredible feats with old CDs. This CD Windmill is nicknamed the Time Machine due to its use of discs from multiplayer online games whose servers are no longer active or available. Enjoy reminiscing about the past. Yes, there are numerous extra files included for individuals with a CR 10 who may need them; I'm not proficient in design, but this setup works for me. The CD Windmill has been spinning outdoors for months now, and I've decided to finally share it with everyone.
