This 3D model originated with Sketchup 14 and subsequently transformed into various other formats. Its native format is .skp while the 3ds Max scene is based on version 2016, rendered using Vray 3.00 For its centennial iteration, I desired to do something unique. This particular model mirrors an actual object modeled after a picture featured in a magazine. Scaled down to 1/8 size, it can be disassembled much like the S/U model that inspired it. As seen, this version is showcased with its flaws visible. A massive tank positioned within a corner tower supplies rainwater to both the household and irrigation system through an integrated collection system. The courtyard's subterranean section was intentionally excavated to serve as a basement while supporting steel beams help stabilize the area around it. Initials and the date marking the creation of the original model are visibly displayed on the house facade. A detachable drawbridge allows users to toggle visibility on or off through various layer options. Notably, the actual model showcases a fixed pivot at its rear end which in turn presents a cavernous space within the archway's lower portion. Those inclined may pursue their creative ambitions and bring interior aspects of this structure to completion.
