This 3D model originated from an original creation with Sketchup 8 and then transformed into various other 3D formats. Native format is .skp while 3dsmax scenes were crafted in 3ds Max 2016, utilizing Vray 3.00 for rendering. The featured design showcases one of the six employee cabins situated at Sequoia National Park, catering specifically to married employees. Typically, single staff members reside in smaller cabins located within the employees' housing area. This specific cabin's floor plan is an exact replica, but I made alterations by modifying wall materials and roof configurations. The original cabins were constructed during the 1920s, over-engineered to withstand snow accumulations reaching as much as twenty feet in winter months. My past role involved preparing the cabin for spring opening and fall closure, including stripping interior contents with the maintenance team each season, resulting in only what you see today being left intact. Former residents had to rummage through these structures for additional items. Although it has been thirty years since I worked there, the cabins' current status is unknown; they may still stand in their original condition. The ground floor consists of a communal living space; an elevated sleeping loft above houses a bathroom, kitchen, and dining area.
