This is a reimagined version of Zarlor's super Bullzeye Clock, meticulously redesigned to be 1.5 times larger and equipped with an ingenious ratchet mechanism on the string pulley for effortless winding. My revamped clock boasts a battery life of approximately 8 hours, relying on a substantial 1.7Kg weight made from lead shot. Each steel rod is precision-crafted at 2mm, while the four primary rods supporting the gears are lengthened to 43mm to ensure smooth operation. The rod within the string gear is securely glued in place, whereas the other three gear assemblies glide freely along their respective rods. To accommodate precise calibration, the pendulum and hand rods are carefully sized to suit. I utilized sturdy 15mm x 3mm cap screws to assemble the frame halves, allowing for effortless disassembly. For optimal performance, powered graphite was used as a lubricant to facilitate smooth rotation. The weight cord, fashioned from durable nylon 75lb fishing line, is wrapped around the pulley approximately 3 1/2 times to prevent slippage. This ingenious one-way ratchet mechanism enables easy winding, courtesy of Goofy's innovative idea. A captivating video showcasing the clock in motion can be found here: https://youtu.be/l88Bo01-u7I
