Big Bobber by PlanePrint Straight Empennage and Tail

UPDATE:I just made a much lighter version of this tail empennage. You can cover the holes with decals, Monokote, or just leave it as is!UPDATE:I had to make a few changes to the files. If you have downloaded them recently, and have not printed them yet, please delete the old ones, and download them again!02/18/2024. I apologize for the two pieces that have bridging. If they don't bridge well, just cut off the pieces that fall down, and it will be fine. I've been printing these out of PETG, and they are very lightweight! For PETG, I use a 1mm nozzle, 2 perimeters and 3 layers top and bottom. Very strong, yet very light! I've made several Big Bobbers now, one of them being a red one, with LED lights, a female pilot, and all the extras that I could think of.In doing so, I've also decided that I wanted to try one without the grid fuselage. So I took a printed grid fuselage for measurements, and made what you see here. It doesn't have carbon fiber stringers, but I always cover mine with a light fiberglass cloth and Polycrylic resin, for the added strength. If you want to add to this, and put in reinforcements, email me, and I can send you the step files or whatever other file type you want.
