Biface XCB-105-1285, a significant archaeological site, dates back to 400 BCE-100 CE. Located at Adamagan (Aleut for walrus hunters' place), the head of Morzhovoi Bay, western Alaska Peninsula, this massive village boasts multiple occupations. At its peak, it was the largest Arctic village with an estimated 1000 residents. The site also features limited occupations from 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE. Research grants from NSF - 9630072, 9814086, 9996372, 9996415, 1139266, and 1321411 - supported the study led by Principal Investigator H. Maschner. Artifacts were scanned using Faro Edge Arm or Minolta Vivid 9i scanners. Processing in Geomagic or Polyworks software utilized 2-8 photos for texture in Geomagic Wrap. The original digitizing work took place at IVL, Id. St. Univ., while subsequent processing and publication were completed at Global Digital Heritage.
