Biface en chert - Pointe-Lebel
sketchfab
A large biface approximately 9 cm in length was discovered by a resident of Pointe-Lebel, on a slope leading to the Manicouagan River, about fifty years ago. It could have served as a cutting tool or else been a storehouse for raw materials, more easily transported than a large block. We still do not know its exact origin and age, but the object could be several thousand years old. It may have belonged to an ancestor of the Innu people. Private collection.
