BierMaxx Tap adapter

BierMaxx Tap adapter

I upgraded my CO2 system to a regular tank, which cost me around €15 on Aliexpress. The new setup works like a charm, and I can now fill my beer keg with more than two bars without any issues. I designed an adapter that fits perfectly into the original tap's slot, replacing the old "silver" colored one. This adapter is a bit tricky to take apart if you need to access its inner workings, but I can send you some pictures if you're interested. To assemble the new tap, simply bend the input pipe gently until it reaches a 45-degree angle; this will ensure a snug fit. The adapter itself was printed using PETG filament, which provides excellent heat resistance, and an infill percentage of 10% is more than sufficient for its intended purpose. I also employed support material with an overhang threshold of greater than 15 degrees to minimize waste and simplify post-processing. If you'd like to take a closer look at the design or make any modifications, feel free to download the Freecad files I've included.
