
Bicycle with Spring Mechanical Energy Storage

A spring-powered bicycle concept design is presented for my thesis, featuring polyurethane cylinder springs within its body pressurized by hydraulic oil. The middle variable axial piston pump receives power from this setup, while the front wheel's pump enables regenerative braking - no separate braking system is needed. Charging takes only 4 minutes using a dedicated charger connected to a household outlet. The design was created with NX software, and renderings were done using KeyShot.
