Bicycle Wheel Clock

Bicycle Wheel Clock

This one-of-a-kind creation was cobbled together from a mishmash of discarded and donated bike parts. All I did was come up with some creative mounting hardware, then assemble everything in a functional package. The 3D printed components might just work their magic if you happen to have similar gears and wheels lying around. With any luck, these designs and concepts will serve as the perfect springboard for remixes that cater to a wide range of bike gear configurations. I didn't exactly invent this idea from scratch - the initial inspiration was courtesy of a creation by pixelthis over on Etsy. Here's a step-by-step guide: The accompanying pictures showcase every aspect of the clock assembly process. Hardware needed: 4 M4x2.5-inch screws and nuts 1 High-torque clock mechanism 1 set of precision-crafted clock arms 1 Rear bicycle wheel (from an old bike) 1 set of bicycle gears I sourced the clock mechanism and arms from Klockit, a go-to supplier for all my timekeeping needs.
