Bicycle Water Bottle Holder

This is a water bottle holder designed specifically for older bicycles without the standard frame mounting holes on the down tube or anywhere else. The clamp is tailored to fit the narrow down tubes found on classic road bikes, and its interior diameter measures precisely 28.5mm. However, it will work seamlessly with tubes that are slightly larger or smaller than this measurement. If you need to adjust the clamp size, I have included a .f3d file from Fusion 360 for your convenience. The water bottle holder itself is generously sized to accommodate CamelBak Eddy bottles. To complete the assembly, simply attach the clamps to the frame and secure them with the 24mm M3 screws. Make sure to note which side of the clamp features a recess for the M3 nut. By tightening the screws, you will not only fasten the water bottle holder but also apply a gentle pressure to the down tube that keeps the entire assembly securely in place. If your water bottle holder tends to shift from side to side, consider adding washers as spacers, although this is not strictly necessary.
