**Update: 28 Feb 2018** I've been reviewing my old designs and revising them in Fusion 360 now that it's become my go-to design platform. Working with a parametric modeler is a huge improvement over SketchUp, even though the latter was quick to learn. The dimensions on this version differ slightly from the original SketchUp design, so the original remains available. As before, both versions are available - one without and one with initials. The first file is the one without initials, which I assume most folks will prefer. I scoured several tire levers online and printed a few to compare them. While there are some solid designs out there, none quite meet my standards for quality tools. My trusty old Park Tool TL-4 was always my top choice, so I decided to create my own easily printable tire lever inspired by the TL-4. One notable omission is the lack of a spoke hook found in most other tire levers. To be honest, I never use that feature and prefer the simplicity of designs without it - much like the TL-4. The new TL-4.2 has spoken hooks, but I'm not sold on their necessity. Additionally, my design doesn't allow for snapping together, a feature that might be beneficial for portable tire levers. The key to the TL-4 style tire lever lies in its relatively slender body and tight hook at the end, which securely grips either the tire bead or the rim's edge without any give. This design provides better leverage and precision than other tools I've used. I've uploaded two versions: one with initials and one without. While I prefer the version with my initials, I won't be offended if you choose not to use it. Both designs are labeled "TL-4" as a nod to my favorite tire lever, now discontinued. My design doesn't borrow from the two levers that inspired me, but I appreciate their concepts and think they were closest to what I was aiming for, so I gave them credit where due.
