Bicycle seat post with shock absorber (a new look)

Introducing a revamped bicycle seat post with an effective shock absorber. The hyperboloid-shaped absorber is available in two manufacturing styles - Direct Laser Sintering (DLS) using titanium powder or traditional machining and welding methods. This lightweight post, weighing 0.11022 kg and occupying a volume of 24.439 mm³, can withstand design loads of an axial force of 3000 N (equivalent to a rider exerting 100 kg mass under 3g acceleration). The design boasts a safety factor of 1.94, resulting from the examination of eight alternative part configurations.
