Of course you don't necessarily need this, but sticking some black reflective stripes on the frame of your bicycle can be an option. However, if you have a front rack, this device can come in handy. You know that feeling when you're on the road and it's not shining bright outside, but cars still pass by quickly as if you're invisible. With this device, they'll definitely take notice, for sure! Especially on long trips, open roads (not just at night), or during training sessions, being visible is crucial. I personally don't want a standard reflector on my bike (I'm sure you understand the reasons). That's why I designed this reflector that only becomes conspicuous when it reflects.
