Bicycle Rear Light Enclosure
thingiverse
Hi there, so a few months back my bikelights got swiped. I'm all about clip-on bikelights as I hate having a dynamo on a racing bike. Yet, I'm too laid-back to always take them off and putting them back on, and I don't like forgetting them and having to ride in the dark, especially during winter season. The moment I realized my lights were gone, I knew what I had to do. Now that I've got new ligths, I started designing an enclosure around them. This one's for the rear/back light and it works flawlessly. Check out this link to the website: https://www.redcycling.de/produkt/red-cycling-products-pro-25-lux-urban-led-beleuchtungs-set-schwarz/ Here's how it works: you clip the light onto the bar, slip component A on it, close it with component B around it, and just lock it with a small padlock. Believe it or not, it's super stable and hard to open even with some serious force. Sure, you might be able to break the plastic by whacking it with a rock or something similar, but my hope is that people who just roam around looking for opportunities won't take the trouble of breaking it forcefully. Since I used black filament to print it, it really blends in with the bike's black design. (Front Light will follow soon)
