Good bike locks are heavy, and weight can be a problem in sports, but a lock is absolutely essential when you're out and about in the city. That's why I thought about how I could easily switch between two worlds: The solution was to use the bottle holder as a convenient storage space for my ABUS BORDO Lite folding lock. The dimensions are perfectly tailored to fit this lock, but the idea should work just as well with every other folding lock that isn't bigger than the bottle cage. The material (nGen Flex) is precisely right for this purpose: firm enough to keep the part stable and soft enough so nothing rattles loose.
