Bicycle Light Holder w/ quick-release
thingiverse
I had an SRT5 lying around from my time in the army, and this torch is one hell of a light - I wanted to mount it to my bicycle. I didn't want to leave it there permanently and leave it open to the world to take. So the issue here was that I have something I want to mount securely, but also have it easy enough to remove when I'm not using it. The answer was a quick-release utilising removable zip-ties. This light holder comes in three parts. The top and middle section are screwed together around your handlebar (I lined the inner part of these with heatshrink to prevent them from scratching my bicycle handlebars). A releasable zip tie goes through the holes in the middle section, around to the bottom. I found it's best to cross these over each other - let me know if you need a more detailed description or pictures of the zip-ties used.
