Bicycle handlebar extender v2
thingiverse
I've updated my original handlebar extender to make it even more robust and versatile. The new design features slots for attachments, just like a Quad Lock style phone holder - coming soon! The total length of this extension is 300mm, with 210mm spanning between the handlebars and the aluminum pipe. This ensures that it doesn't interfere with gripping the handlebars. To assemble this extender, you'll need some brass threaded inserts and M3 bolts. You'll also need a 25mm aluminum pipe/profile, which should be cut to your desired length - I recommend painting it matte black for a sleek look. This design is specifically tailored for use with 25.4mm handlebars. If you're interested in a smartphone Quad Lock-inspired holder, take a look at this amazing thing on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3466026 The caps for the pipe are included in version 1 of this design.
