bicycle front fender mount

I recently upgraded to a brand-new bike and promptly discovered that the front fender from my old bike couldn't be adapted to my new one. The diameter of the tube beneath the handlebars was too narrow for the mounting bracket of the fender, so I took matters into my own hands and designed a smaller attachment piece which proved to be an instant success. Instructions I omitted the small tabs at the bottom of the original mount piece, as they were causing me more hassle than they were worth. Instead, I printed the two pieces just as they appeared in the STL and 3DM files, then carefully drilled out two holes on either side before securely gluing in some carbon rod (anything similar would do the trick). The nut and bolt were supplied with the original fender mounts. This particular design was crafted using Rhinoceros 3D, and I've included the 3DM file for others who might need to modify the diameter of the cylinder to fit their bike. I printed this piece on an older PrinterBot Simple using 0.3mm layers of PLA filament; no support material was required.
